By Christopher Reeve is and will always be the best Superman actor of my lifetime. To many, he embodies the character and brought it to life in 1978. Since there have been many who have played this character and maybe some younger ones may see Reeve as an antique, a relic of the past, but if any who have played the character with Jusitice, it has to be two, David Corenswet and Henry Cavill, the most recent ones.
Corenswet revived the character in July 2025 and made it a credible first superhero for all. Cavill did a good job and despite bringing home the bacon he never got the credit he deserves. He was a good Superman, but he never quite connected. I adore Corenswet’s version. He’s young fresh and vibrant and he has humour and credibility.
David’s the most youthful Superman of al time and I can’t wait to see Milly Alcock in action next year as his cousin, Supergirl. They just get it with the younger folks. They have pop culture down pat. They are the new superhero hitmakers. God bless.
